Terms of service

Last updated: July 5, 2026. Version 1.0.

1. Accepting the terms

These terms are a contract between you and Valentin Kirilov, operator of Zadano ("the Operator"). By creating an account or using Zadano you accept these Terms, the End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Zadano is an application for shared tasks and notes, organized into isolated workbooks with members, teams and access permissions. The service is free as of the date of these terms. If paid plans appear in the future, we will announce them in advance; your data will not be deleted because of a plan change.

3. Account

You must be at least 14 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your password safe and for the actions taken through your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect misuse.

4. Your content

The content you create (tasks, notes, comments) remains your property. You grant the Operator only the technical license needed to run the service: to store, display and synchronize the content to you and to the members of the workbooks you share it with. You are responsible for your content and for your right to share it.

5. Workbooks and roles

A workbook's owner manages its members and permissions. Content shared in a workbook is visible to its members according to those permissions. The Operator does not intervene in or arbitrate disputes between workbook members.

6. Acceptable use

7. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for high availability and correctness but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own backups of critical information.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you by mandatory provisions of law as a consumer.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. The Operator may restrict or terminate access upon a material breach of these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

10. Changes to the terms

For material changes we will notify users in the app or by email a reasonable time before they take effect. Continued use after that time constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

Bulgarian law applies. Disputes are resolved by the competent Bulgarian court. As a consumer you may also contact the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission (kzp.bg) or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
